Independence Day Celebration 2023
 
Kick off your Independence Day celebration with our annual Founders Pointe Neighborhood Ceremony and Parade on Tuesday, JULY 4th! 

Event Details
 
Decorate your bikes, trikes, kids, pets, and yourself!
There's something for everyone – you do not have to have kids to join in the fun!
 
Get creative with a theme such as American heroes, movies, Team USA, nods to history or simply go all out in red, white and blue. Ribbons and prizes will be awarded to the "best decorated" in each of the following categories:
 
  • Bicycles (2 wheels)
  • Bikes with training wheels/Tricycles/Scooters
  • Wagons/Strollers/Kiddie Cars
  • Cutest Patriotic Pet
  • and MOST PATRIOTIC FAMILY (this one has an especially big prize!)
Schedule
 
8:30 a.m. – Judging begins in the pool parking lot (make sure to get your entry number when you arrive!).
8:45 a.m. – Brief ceremony honoring our Nation and Veterans
9:00 a.m. – Short Parade led by our Franklin Fire Department!
9:15 a.m. – Prize Winner Presentation and Frozen Treats!

Note to our Promenade Court Neighbors

Please make sure your cars are off the street by Sunday night so that the fire truck can get through (and you don’t end up with handlebar scratches on your vehicle!).
 
Parking options: Founders Pointe Blvd. or the very back of the pool parking lot.
